If you sent a payment to a beneficiary and, for any reason, they returned the funds, the returned amount will appear on your account statement. This means the funds have been successfully credited back to your account. Returned payments are usually processed as incoming payments, so you'll see them listed just like any other incoming transaction.
If you're unable to locate the returned payment on your statement, it likely means the funds have not yet been sent back by the beneficiary bank.
In such cases, we recommend asking the beneficiary to contact their bank to confirm if the return has been processed. In your request, you should include key details such as the value date, payment reference, and amount, which will help the beneficiary bank trace the funds.
